Finished soybeans last week... pictures!

I just grabbed a few pictures of the soybeans taking their first step on their long journey to China.


Combine is a John Deere 6620 Titan II Sidehill, Tractors are 1978 Ford 9700 with 18.4-38 duals, and a 2000 New Holland 8670 with 20.8-42 duals. Carts are Killbros 475 and EZ-Trail 510.

I don't know what my yields are yet. I took off my first 1100 bushel from 21 acres, but, haven't got the elevator tickets for the other loads yet. I'd imagine I'm somewhere around 38-40 bu/ac after running down some really deer destroyed acres. Probably lost 5 acres or so to deer.

Thanks for the pics. Nice equipment.

PS: Hire them - the deer mowed down 5 acres & the Deere
mowed down the rest. Or, think of it this way, you were
feeding your DINNER - Venison is DELICIOUS!

That is hysterical! I never thought about using the deer as livestock! Do you think that fencing them in is ok? I could have quite a herd!




Thanks for the compliments! I try to keep the equipment clean and in good shape. You know that is harder than farming!
 
I employeed a deer killer he has killed ten so far gives me $20 for every one he kills said he was glad to be able to hunt

No need to fence them in, your "livestock" are FREE
RANGING. And YES, they are livestock, because DEAD-
stock don't eat crops.

If you ever need someone to take care of your deer problem let me
know. I am a pretty good shot with a bow or rifle and I am a very
responsible hunter. Just putting that out there.
