Tire reliners

Do you mean liners where you have a piece of something between the tube and the tire to help keep thorns etc from poking a hole in the tube?? If yes I have install lots of them over the years and they do help a lot

I have a pair of firestones on a tractor and they are cracking around the lugs, lots of tire left, though I might put liners in them to get the good out of them.

I used a set to try to save a pair of 10x40 tires. The instructions said to over inflate them some to keep them from slipping. I put them in,went to town and when I came home, one tire had exploded with so much force,it blew a fender off and dented the seat.
Just be darned careful with them, that's all I'm saying.

I used liners in my N Ford for over 40 years.
Montgomery Wards rear tires that were falling apart then and still are, Mine were one piece and the ones I last looked at were 2 piece.

I went up to about 25 pounds. It was siting in the shop. When I came home,it was leaning sideways.
