Son has a Honda Forman that only power is to the front axle only to the left front wheel on a hard pull, says there was no noise or grinding just loss of pulling power and getting stuck where he didn't before.the hubs on the rear seem to have a lot of play, more so on the right rear. He uses this unit for a lot of small jobs instead of firing up the B414.

Very good chance the hubs are stripped out. Had to fix a problem like that this summer on a friends Kawasaki mule and it had both rear hubs stripped out and one drive shaft stripped also

I will second Old on this. I bet that the hubs are lose/stripped on the axles. I have a Honda Foreman. I have o replace the hubs every 4-5 years as they strip out. I even tried Loctite them. It helped but did not cure the problem.

Thought maybe that might be the problem,he had work done on the front end, sounds like the rear end is jealous and wants some attention to,he also has a mule that needs a head gasket. I'd tackle both jobs but work gets in the way.

will need new hubs and might need an axle I work on 4 wheelers 6 days a week and grease them new hubs on the spline and get rid of the rubber dust cups on the wheels so you can check the nuts and tighten them

How do you check the hubs? Jack the rear in the center and "push-pull" on the rear wheels?
How often should they be greased. I don't see this in the owners manual.
