Well who knows for sure you may have a mutt. The C in the serial number says it is a C but if it has the wishbone type front axle like the B then you may have a mutt which is made from more then one or just the front end and steering box off a B on a C. The rear of a C is a bit wider then the B is by the way

The B rear wheels are dished very shallowly and have a big nut in the center, the C rear wheels are 5 bolt mount and deeply dished. The final drives are about 6" wider on each side on a C. Either one can use either front end with some minor parts changes.

would the fact it has HAND BRAKES tell me anything? if the number is a B it says it is a 1938 - if the number is a C it should be a 1941

does this help?

Hand brakes goes back to it being an early B but again sounds like some one took 2 or more tractors and built one. I have done that more then once and right now I have a Farmall BA which is half B and half A
