Just wondering if any of you would know the value of a
Gunmark 20 gauge over/under shotgun. The gun has a
serial number on it, and also Made in Italy. There are some
other markings but I cant make them out. Nice engraving in
the metal where the trigger is. I tried to google Gunmark
but didnt come up with anything. Any help on where to
look or a value would be appreciated. The gun is in very
nice condition and I could post a picture if needed. Thanks
- Bob

As near as I could find, my 2400 page bluebook didn't list a "Gunmark".

Guns and Ammo magazine has a monthly column where readers can ask for info on various firearms. The author of that column seems extremely well informed on unusual weapons.

You might pick up a copy of that magazine and try contacting that column. It would help to email a photo.

I can find no reference to the Gunmark name in my Blue Book of Gun Values. However mine is a older edition.

The Italians build a lot of guns for smaller distrbutors in the US and other contries.

I'd go online and see if you can get into a copy of a newer Shooter's Bible or Blue Blook. The Italians and Spainards build guns that run from horrible to some of the best in the world.

That column was always a favorite of mine, some of the guns that appear and their stories, like some old Henry rifle I read about one time, rare but found in a barn or some odd place similar for a gun. I used to enthusiastically read that magazine as a kid, from cover to cover and I believe I still have all those. Not many if any of those authors/ contributors left last time I looked at one of those magazines.

Bob,

Try to google Arieta. They are a gunmaker in Europe and I believe they have contract built guns as Gunmarks.

I found this a while back while googling another gun I had never heard of.

Here are a couple of pictures, just in case someone might recognize it. I did find CAM 76 on the barrels under the forestock. Also 59 which I believe to be the date. Thanks again for the replies - Bob

I use gunbroker dot com lots to see what they have listed that's comparable and if there are any buyers bidding..they also usually have pics up of the weapons so you can match to what you have..good luck with your search it is a nice looking shotgun

The "CAM 76" is an abbreviation for camera 76... Italian for chamber is "camera". 76 is MM's... means you have 3" chambers.

Looks like a nice sleek user grade gun. Hard to tell much without detailed pictures, but somewhere between $500-1000.

Selective trigger? Extractors or ejectors?

Thanks to all for the replies. RG it is a selective trigger and
when you break the gun open after a shot it ejects the
shell/s out. It also says it shoots 3" shells so you were right
again. Thanks again for everyones input. Bob
