The original subject was "Re: 2755 hydraulics".

i have recently purchased a 2606 that is identical to yours in nearly every way. It had been sitting for at least 20 years, i have managed to get it running and the hydraulics seemed to work the okay the first time i tried using them. however when i replaced the hydraulic fluid i could barley move the bucket, because there was so much cavitation. i am now fixing all the leaky hoses as well as replacing the filters. i am going to try and refill it pretty soon and was wondering if there is a certain way to bleed the system of air and or prime the system.
Thanks for your help

http://www.yesterdaystractors.com/cgi-
bin/viewit.cgi?bd=farmall&th=644527 Its the same
model as the one in the post, its a farmall 6
cylinder tractor with a 3000 loader. I believe it
was made in 1963, it use to be used to move snow
on a highway pass. I have tried that except it did
not seem to work and there was still lots of
cavitation, in both the steering and the loader. I
will get some pictures of it this weekend.

It's better to say what brand as we are not mind readers. The 2755 is popular but happens to be a 1990's vintage Mannheim Deere.

Sorry, i was not trying to start on that topic but
rather reply to the member BC, who has the same
tractor as me. Although any help is appreciated,
the loader is a international 3000 loader,
