I got one of these for my daughter, years ago. she had the opportunity to use it on a womans car. Yesterday we took the 92 Ford to Rice lake, done some shopping all over town.Gas mileage improved dramatically since the transmission repair.
Stopped and got us one of these to carry around just in case we get a flat or low tire away from the house. These are handy to have in your tractor/truck/car or anywhere else you need air. This has a blow nozzle in the kit making it a good deal in case you have to blow out your fuel filters or lines. Thought maybe you guys could use this information in case you are out in the field and find out your tire is going flat nice to make it back to the barn without walking or calling a service truck. This Company makes more expensive compressors, but we opted for the least expensive one for us. Really something to consider.

My uncle has a jump pack with a little compressor built in. We haul quite a few haywagons around and its come in handy a few times.

I got a used one like that for $3 at an auction a few years back, it is handy and lives in the car along with a few other things.

I used to have something even smaller than that I carried in my car. It was really great. It finally gave up the ghost and I have since lost track of it. Probably around here somewhere. Sometimes I think an archaeologist would have a field day if I let him dig here. I should look at one of those for the daughters car.

I have two jump starts with air compressor--great for a remote tire not near a 12v plug--just used it to pressurize my water tank!

I've had one of them since the middle 70's, bought one for wife 30 years ago, only time either one was used was the kids pumping up balls and pool toys.

LOU,
They are really handy. I carry one and have used it on a low tire.

We also used it at the lake to inflate rafts and tubes for fun on the water.

I've carried one under the back seat in my pickup for years along with a tire plug kit. Saved me many a time. The family on occasion gets together in the summer to go riding on snowmobile trails (logging trails actually) in the hills with about ten 4 wheelers and side by sides. Always someone gets a flat or low tire about twenty miles from nowhere up in the timber. Pretty handy there too. Won't go without one.

I worked on a school bus a couple years ago that used on as an air compressor to provide air to operate the door and stop arm. Between the vibration and all the road dust it did not have a very long life. That little filter sure isn't designed for that use.

Had a couple over the years.First one worked just fair.Finely died after not much use.Second one wouldn't blow up an air mattress.

I've bought several of the Walmart version of those little pumps over the years. Very handy for low tires but they don't last too long in steady use. Really handy when you need on though! At the last Woodstock Anniversary in Rome NY there was a guy making a mint going around with one of those pumping up people tires.
