When I get behind a big rig, it looks to me that the trailer is trailing slightly off to the right, so the driver has a better view past the trailer on the left side.

Is this just from my position/perspective in my vehicle? Just my imagination? Or maybe it's my glasses? Or are the tractor and trailer set up that way?

The trailer is just out of alignment. The ones the dog track to the center on the road get complaints and get fixed sooner is all.

Are You comin thru Louisville soon???,, I recall few years back comin south out of indy after a commish conference ,,winds were howlin ,box trux laid over every 5 miles or so...poor fellas allowed me to pass on rite to get around them quik ,, watched serveral get air under the back rite axle one had as much as 2 foot..!! thought forsure he was goin over but the Good driver nudged it hard and jerked it back to the ground ,, I SALUTE You Fellers out there ,, ! One thing many have forgotten is the trailers with a slider for the rear axles have a little side play in the slider. Its not much, but enough to cause the trailer to tow dogleg after jackknifing to a dock.
