Married 61 years today and I was in the Army on Oct 31,1953. I was stationed at Ft Bragg NC. with the 82nd Airborne Div. We have one daughter born at Ft Bragg. Hal

Congratulations on the Anniversary.

My Dad was 82nd Airborne at Ft Bragg. He was stationed there just about the same time. I believe 1951 or 52. My Mom just moved out of our old time farmhouse into a small retirement apt. She gathered up a lot of things she had stashed away and distributed them among me, my Brother, and my Sister. Some of what she gave me was a bunch of pictures of my Dad parachuting, and some of the area around Bragg, as well as the patches from his uniform. Great keepsakes. Bob

my grandson was in the 82nd Airborn he spent a year in Iraq was injured when the Humvee went into a whole.

Congrats on 61 years, longer than I've been alive and thanks for service to our country!! Amazing at what military people did back then as compared to now with all the modern contrivances. Hope y'all have many more!!
