My landlord pulled the fuel filter and we have been trying to get the old tractor going ever since. We have gone thru the entire fuel system even removed fuel tank and cleaned out debree. Tractor showed fuel to injectors and finally started and run fine. I put it in gear and it went about 30 feet and stopped like key turned off. I am at end of my reasoning on this and thought perhaps someone may have an idea.
also, the power steering isn't working. It has twin clyinders and i believe they have air and probably need bled.

Always fill the new filter with fuel and then install it. It seems to me there is air in the system somewhere,or a clogged line..blow some air back to the tank and then try again

Did you use NAPA filter 3166? If so did you make the common mistake of placing an O ring in the top outer fuel inlet groove, restricting fuel flow? Hope it's that simple, if the pump head seized it will stop that way too. Then be costly to repair it.

Thanks for the tip I will try that. My landlord did not fill the filter first just put it back on and used punp but it wasn't filling very fast but we let it set a few days and it filled on its own.

You are correct on filter but I do not know now about Oring. Will have to check that yet.
