Well finally got my truck back home today bought it back in May and never gotta drive it because I bought it needing a crank well I put it on the corner until a couple weeks ago when crank came and got it put back together now it runs great it's a 2005 dodge srt10 with the 8.3 viper motor, fastest production truck made, has a six speed manual.

Ran first tank threw it and got 14.4 which is ok I guess not the best for a two door half ton 2wd but it's making a lot of power also, might get 15 when it's broke in top end is new also I bought from guy who ran outta money after top end was done, I finished bottom end.

Spun rod bearing and mechanic that guy had it getting worked on at had 0.20 took off and could get main bearings 0.20 but not rod bearings, could only get rods 0.10 they don't make 0.20 which crank was almost 5000 but I bought truck right so it wasn't a big deal can always get money back out, don't plan on selling because I think the srt10 will always be worth something since not many are made.

Pretty nice toy ! Can't get mileage with one of those. Who could possibly drive it without sticking your foot in it at every opportunity !!!!

Thats one fantastic truck, very fast and sounds great. A local guy bought one and took it back to Scotland, I got talking to him early in the summer at one of our tractor shows. His was bright red, I think a sunday afternoon was the only time he could afford to take it out with gas costing $10-12 a gallon

I am retired. I dont want to go ANYWHERE fast!

Plus, the speeding ticket for going 155 would probably be $1,000, and the insurance rates would triple.

I need a 4wd to ease into my deer camp, and something to ease the deer out.

That about does it for me.

Glad you like it. Wish I knew enough to work on engines like that.

Nice looking truck!
$5000 for a crank sounds insane, but it is an SRT10 after all.
I used to be a huge Dodge fan, not so much now a days, but
if anyone doubts the resale value of your truck, direct them
to kbb.com. 19 - 21K for a 9 year old 2WD short box.
Hope you have nothing but good luck with it and enjoy it!
PS - start saving for rear tires! :)

Yeah crank was expensive could only get it from one place
that's aftermarket and molar doesn't still make a crank for a
2005, the 2005 is different from all others because it has a
crank sensor and crank has groove in it which no other years
has that, and new motor from molar is close to 20,000
