I was told to to buy something called Super Seal that is made in San Antonio that can be bought at any tire shop locally.

Has anyone ever heard of this before or tried it?

I tried searching online for it but the only thing I found is bulk ordering for those with an account.

What is it you are going to seal..??

Ron.

Tire puncture. Right front tire on my Ford 3000 got pierced by a thorn bush and the thorn is still in. When I tried to remove it air started coming out so I left it in till I figured out what to do.

Tractor shop said to go to any tire shop and buy what he called Super Seal. It is made in San Antonio and can be found locally and every tractor owner uses it to seal tires vs replacing it.

I just dont know if the product exsists or if he gave me the wrong name as I cant find anything like that. Closest I found was Multi Seal based out of Spring Tx.

Well, what we do is pull the thing that made the hole, take it apart and patch it like it's supposed to be done.

Down here the tractor shops I called and talked with they told me that the farmers around here dont do that they run super seal in their tires which will patch the tire as punctures happen till its time to replace the tire.

I just cant find anything by the name Super Seal. Closest I found was Multi-Seal.

Personally I would patch it on the inside but we have no building on the property yet, no concrete slab, and no tools and equipment to remove the tire from the rim let alone taking the tire off the tractor and taking it somewhere to have it fixed. We didnt plan on this happening on clearing the overgrowth brush out so we can have the people come out and resurvey the land, build the building, and have the house put up.

I use Berryman tire sealer on small tires. Most good sealers cost 35 to 50 dollars a gallon. The price might encourage you to call a tire service truck out if you have no tools.

Is this the stuff that's advertised on late-night
TV as the cure-all for just about anything that
leaks? If so, I saw it yesterday at my CVS Drug,
on the shelf with all the other TV-hyped gee-gaws
such as the knife that never needs sharpening.

If I have a tire leak and I need to keep going, I use green "Slime".
I use about a gallon per year in all sorts of tires, including all my non-loaded tractor tires.

I understand they make 2 products now, one for Tubeless and one for Tube-Type tires.

Never heard of "Super Seal", maybe it is a local name for the same product??

Ron.
