On the back of this switch there are three prongs, what wires go on witch prong. need a helping hand.

Assuming this is a 3 position switch, off, ignition, and spring return start.

If the terminals are marked, it will say "BAT", "IGN", and "STA" or something similar. Self explanatory.

If not you'll need an ohm meter to determine which terminal does what.

In off, no connection between any terminals.

In ignition on, connection between the battery terminal and the ignition terminal.

In start, connection between all 3 terminals.

You'll need to try all the possible combinations to be sure you have it right. Not difficult, just double check to be sure.

Thanks for the input, but its not a spring back switch' its the original, with a push starter button.

That switch should have 4 positions, off, ignition, ignition and lights, lights.
