You should have gone fishing for a week and then took another look at it --- around here we would pay for that for a year or more with reduced yeilds good luck to ya --

It really doesn't seem to affect us around here. I'm less than an hour away from Kevin and we're gonna be mudding it out this weekend if we can get a bagger. Only 2wd though so we'll have to be extra careful So we don't get stuck. Might be a good thing the field was never plowed last year, but it still hurt the yield.

Maybe if you would have chopped that corn two months ago when it should have been chopped, it wouldn't have been so muddy. What are you doing with it now??

That corn still tested 55% whole plant moisture. Trouble is it froze way too soon for it to get ripe.
So I figured the best place for it is in the silo.

I know our corn even 2 weeks ago was too green to chop. Consequently we missed the boat on good weather and now we're gonna have to fight mud.

We did get most of our hay off before the rains, but barely. Dad chopped the last of what he could in the rain. Have maybe 1 load out there yet that now the ground is saturated and much to wet to go over it with our tractor and chopper.
