Iron prices

about the time I have some iron to sell the price has dropped a lot. I just want the place cleaned up. Tired of tripping over iron. A bin will be delivered tomorrow. They tell me the bin being delivered will not effect the price. Has scrap iron price dropped in your area? Stan

We are in a higher priced area clean scrap is $240.00 a ton here today. 12 cents a lb.

135.00 a ton for unprepared last Friday, down from 156.00 the week before in central MN.

Here in Northern Ont , it's 145 / ton for cars and 220 for heavy ( meaning bars plate under 4 ') that's about our average for the past 6 months
