I never did tell the wife about the time I picked up a bull snake with a pair of those,since it was headed across the living room floor straight for her chair. I'd have been buying her a new chair.

Don't think I have ever seen a bull snake!? Are they common over your way? I like ANY snake that eats mice and isn't poisonous.

Common as dirt. Not at all unusual to have them in the house. I pulled two off the kitchen windowsill one night. Most all the old houses around here have them. If the wife thought one was going to come up next to the cushion in her chair you can bet there'd be trouble though.

Is a Bull snake and a Black snake the same thing? I don't kill black snakes because they work pretty hard on the mice population. Did kill a Rat snake because he climbed the pipe pole and got into the Purple Martin's bird house last summer.
