Last month a 22" natural gas pipeline ruptured on the farm during the middle of the night. It blew a hole thirty feet in diameter, and over ten feet deep in the soil on the edge of a wetland. Since then it has turned into a giant sink hole, with a second 30" pipeline next to it that may have been compromised. The company is waiting on Government permits to do the work that needs to be done in the wetland. In the meantime, I am wondering if there will be another explosion? Two Sheriff Deputies are on stationary patrol(s) of the site 24/7 since this happened. Kind of scary. The barn is 500' from incident location, and the house is 700'. Would you be concerned?
