There are two drain plugs on the left side, one under rear of the step, and one at the transmission. Fill at the large plug by gear shift lever, takes about 8 gallons. Older tractors takes time for oil to get back to the dipstick on the right side.

Refill it slowly! The transmission and rear housing share a common oil compartment, but the passage between them is small. Pouring the oil in too quickly will overfill the transmission, oil will possibly leak out the front seal into the clutch.
