couldnt start with my friend till friday,we went to his pas cabin wed and thursday,here is the patio so far

Larry I'm always amazed at the stone work you do. I would have that so messed up no one could ever fix it! Maybe when you retire you can move down here and we can open up Larry and Gary's Masonry and Stone Works, Tractor Repair and Marine Service.:)

This is just beautiful work. Do you have to shape some of the rocks to get those good fits or are you able to pick through the pile and select the ones with the right shape to fit together?

Looks great. We have lots of limestone flat rock around here, and I like drystacked stone walls and terraces, so I have lots of them around the house. It is kind a fun finding the wright rock for the wright spot. Sort of like stacking firewood also.

I'd be a failure at that for certain - pretty sure that I
ever finished a jigsaw puzzle in my life... and the
pieces were not that heavy either. :)
