Put electronic ign. on early 4000 Ford. When I installed the sleeve over point cam [fits tight]
it came apart and magnents fell out. Has anyone ever experienced this.

I'd call the company and ask if they have a help line.

I have used Ignitor on other things in the past. Good service. just call them and they will replace it.

I put the same kit on my 4000 and never looked back. Has worked flawlessly since installed. Like said previous, call their customer service line and they will replace the faulty part. Only way to go unless your a purist and like the points/condenser setup. Nothing wrong with that but there's "ZERO" maintenance on the electronic that I've come up against.

I put a pertronics in one of my four cyls. maybe 2001 and haven't thought about it since. Probably a good savings.
