The grill on this one was all chrome,,,what year would it be? I dont know

Not a grain truck, and not NJ. Ford and Fall, yes. In my "backyard" in Worcester, Otsego County, NY.
I sold the truck but the buyer never came to get it. Might have to scrap it this spring.

Put that along side today's boy's toys. What a difference.

'49-50??? 100 hp flat head V8, 3 on the floor, probably a heater up there (here heater was added extra), vacuum wipers, drum hydraulic (no power assist) brakes that need adjusting every week or so, recip ball steering (no power assist) 1000# load capacity, probably no radio but if one a little vibrator powered AM....don't see an antenna, no radio. Ford F100.

How many did I get right? Grin

its yours to do as you like, however sure hate to see all those parts and possibly truck that could be restored go to scrap.

Could be a '48, as that's the year they changed to that style.

Would be an F-1, as they didn't go to the 100/250/350, etc. until '53.

Pretty good assessment though, for a young feller like you.

That JD 7720 combine was a good machine and is still very usable. I have hours in a 4420 and a 6620 Titan II. I would take one of those over these joystick and toggle switch models any day!

I had a "Fleetstar" 2050A, I think it was. 1978- last year of production before the S series. Had a factory DT466, which some people didn't believe-but I had the line ticket! It had a single rear axle, with air shifted two speed. Also air wipers. "Bostrom" torsion bar seat- hadn't they figured out the air seats by then?

It's a 1950. I had two of them, side by side. The buyer took the best one (that ran) and never came back for the one in the photo. Both had the bigger Mercury flathead V8s. 255 cubic inches.
The one in the photo does have the remnants of an old tube radio inside. The one that is gone is a F2. Not sure about the one in the photo (I don't remember off hand).

Hey, casenut if those are oliver 77 parts and you want that truck I live 3 miles from Worcester NY. Just thinking out loud. Greg
