Better find someone that knows about them in your area. I sure wouldn't trust what you hear on this forum looking at those pictures.

Maybe, the middle one looks like a puffball. It should be almost perfectly round, pure white inside with a firm texture. Size varies from small to 12" or more. I'd wait until they get at least 4 or 5" in diameter. Not much looks like puffballs once they get this big. Slice it in half; if you see anything resembling gills discard it. There are no gills like the other mushrooms. You can also do a spore print, but by the time they release their spores, they are too old. The print is brown. Cut a piece and put it under a glass on a piece of white paper. In the morning there will be a print. Look up puffball on the net.

The top and bottom picture I would definitely leave alone.

The top pic "may" be Hen of the woods. We`re they close to an oak tree? My brother found a big mess of them while deer hunting. We had some last night...YUM....Gilbert

top pic is definately not hen of the woods (or sheepshead) as we call them around here. here is a picture of hen of the woods. hen of the woods does not have "gills" on the underside of the leaves.

The only "rule of thumb" about mushrooms is that there is NO rule of thumb! Many factors go into identification. Best to take a course in identifying mushrooms.
Above all else, NEVER eat one that you are unsure of. Options here are DEAD SURE or DEAD.
