I saw this on tractorhouse a week or so ago. Did he add and extra zero in the price or is this the "rare" model I dont know about?

It is kind of a hard to find model if it is a real red stripe 2-105. FWA to boot, but not rare enough to be worth that price.

I question whether that picture is of the actual tractor for sale. Isn't the one in the picture a 4-105? His ad lists a 2-105.

white usually kept the 4- designation for articulated tractors and the 2- for standard tractors whether 2 or 4 wd

Very nice looking red stripe 2WD with front assist and front three point. Pretty as a picture but for $70,000 I could buy a lot more tractor than that.

I don't see any front three point hitch on that tractor... what I see is a front mount blower attached to a push bar and rear PTO driveline. It's probably a 25K blower.... attached to a 10-15k tractor depending on whether or not he set a Cummins engine in the cradle...
My initial reaction was that he'd added one to many zero's to the price.

I bought 4-105 in 1976 and paid $23,800. It was coming due for the dealer.
Do not remember any red stripe 105s. It seems a number of the repainted ones use the Red Stripe. Probably easier and cheaper to put on than the silver stripe.
I notice the guys in Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire ask signicantly more for their tractors. But, this one is way out of the ball park. If I was interested in getting one, I would not waste the time on a phone call for this one.
