A little hard work and paint will make it look new. The owner's daughter of this tractor had it painted for her dad as a Christmas gift. This man in Ohio makes them look better than when new.
Her dad bought the tractor new in 1954. I remember that year very well as I was in the Army and our daughter was born at Ft Bragg NC. Hal

So, I give up. What engine is in the allis pictured on the paper? kinda looks like a 6 cyl. off a combine but its under a tractor hood. If its a 4 its not an allis as the manifold is on the wrong side. I'm clueless. Maybe a swop for a puller?

I don't think that is the right picture...I saw the tractor on the show this morning and it is in its work clothes...no bright paint that I could see.

Looks like a 6 cylinder Buda. I read somewhere
that Allis Chalmers converted some of the last 6
cylinder diesels over to gasoline.

understand that just questioning the picture. I'm sure its not the tractor in article. Thanks for reply though.
