Here are sum puctures of the show in Ferdinand, Ind. this weekend. The fields where they were going to have it were too muddy and they had to move it to the park in town. Its a Yerman settlement with a bunch of friendly folks and one of the neatest and cleanest town you will find. German and Dutch people are one of the most thrifty and cleanest people on earth.
I wuz going to take more photos, but the batteries in camera went south.
They had corn thrashing and wheat shredding, lime crushing and grist milling. The picture of the bearded one is an ole' boy from Kantucky that owns the selfpropelled baler I sold him several yars ago.

Nice Pics, nice show, thanks. I was at that show a few years back and have been to Ferdinand countless times. My wife attended the AIC Acadamey there in the sixties, the Castle on the Hill. She was from Jasper so that area is and was my old stomping grounds. Calumet Lake, The Rustic is where I came of age.

I used to know a fellow from Canton South Dakota that owned an Avery "undermount" steam engine like the one in photo #3. Boiler on top, and engine underneath.
