Looks like the loss has turned your world upside down. LOL Seriously its too bad whats happening to the trees but at least there is a lot of good firewood remaining.

From those pics., it sure looks like you didn't react fast enough on the clutch and now you are taking pics.from the other side of life.

We have been giving our Fords a work out because of the dieing ash trees as well.. Making a lot of firewood but would sooner have the trees alive

Dale - Sorry for the misunderstanding. I meant right click on the pictures as they are seen on the YT web site. It usually works for me using Firefox browser and Windows 7. Don't know how to do it on a smartphone.

I know why you have the chain hooked there, BUT..it IS a good way to be Killed..

I personally have dragged a man from under one, as 4 other men lifted the weight off him..

Just say'in..

Our Ash is mostly still alive, although the wind broke the top off this one 35 feet up. I pulled it out to my landing with the JD4600. I will cut it up into firewood when I get tired of sitting in a deerstand next month. I know, it' a shame to cut a nice tree up into firewood, but I already have a pile of hardwood lumber in the shed. I am afraid in the future there will be a surplus of Ash wood.

"Maybe it the way I hold the phone? I am left handed."

I don't think so. Those smartphones have a mind of their own when it comes to orienting pictures.

Typical dead ash, break off about 20' up, making a widow-maker for you to cut up. Emerald ash borer is the worst thing in Michigan woods since the Dutch Elm disease 50 years ago.

What a way to start my Sunday! I opened your post and almost threw down trying to focus! Thanks for flipping the pictures, I'll try to fix my eyes by watching some football later today.

If you'll use some plain geometry, the log is only a few inches off the ground and really close to the rear end, so it'll only raise the front tires a foot at the most and the tractor'll stop. I pulled logs in the that manner for 20 plus years cutting firewood (including uphill) and used common sense/caution and never got close to to flipping it!!
