Simple Fix #2 - Dies when warmed up - When the
tractor warms up it unceremoniously dies with
no spark. The spark does not come back till the
tractor cools down. This is commonly a bad
condensor. Since testing condensors appears to
be a lost art, it is simplest to replace them.
HAHA! Guess what problem has been nagging me
with my Ford 4600SU for about 4 years. I just
bought a new ignition coil today because the
tractor finally would not fire at all and I
traced it to no spark. Intermittent problems
are the worst!
