Drones in Agriculture

We hear a lot more about them here mainly since we have two major universities. UND is big into aerospace programs and NDSU is big into ag so put them together you get a lot of technology resources. Early in September, there is a huge farm show called "Big Iron" where ag producers are able to see what the major equipment manufacturer's have to offer. Drones were one of the demonstrations which it sounds like had a lot of interest.

I think they would be rescourcefull for many things such as checking ponds, maturity, weeds, etc in beans and especially corn. It will be like everything else like this, complicated and obsolete overnight.

It is illegal to fly them for profit in the US. They look like clay targets to me, PULL

I called my local Sheriff about introducing one to 00 if I saw it
looking at something to steal around the place. He said if you
see such give us a call and we will come out and see who is
running it and why.

Not a bad answer since the max range on the ones I saw on the
internet selling for about $1000 for everything necessary was
only 3200 feet.

Well for me, 3200 feet is either North or South bound on my
road. No way out.
