Did I read somewhere when posting to classified adds it is not permitted to post parting a complete tractor. If so I wonder why? Stan

You can post parts for sale. This site sells new parts and have a good selection and good prices.

If you read further on why they don't allow dealer ads, it's because they intended these classifieds to be for "those with a love of tractors and their historic significance, and those with a love for their land and what a tractor can do for it."

It may be that they have a conscientious objection to parting out tractors (i.e. it does not show love of tractors). It may be that they consider parting out tractors to be a "business."

Considering the prices most people are asking for stuff in the classified section, it's not about the love of tractors, that's for sure...
