OT: It's all up

Son got the wood up and under the deck. A small pile of wood put on a skid for the garage furnace. Sure am happy with the results and still have 10 cord un-cut for next year. We bought the 10 cord from the logger and made up our 12.5 cord now under the deck, from our ground. We pass the mill in Rice Lake and I can tell ya they have Wood reaching 80+ feet high. Guess they will sell it to Japan to buy and then re-sell it to us at a later time. Thats been done before. Tonight we put on a new leather sling on the 30.06 Remington semi auto.Son did a rough sight in and the 3 shot group was less than an inch apart. A little off to the right, but we will re-sight later on before deer season.Other then that, no other new news.
Keep warm and OH yeah, Going to the eye surgeon for final look see with the eyes. Still remarkable
to me how much sight was missed with the cataracts
grown over the eyes. I would highly recommend that surgery to anyone who has this problem.

I meant to ask how you where getting along with your eyes. It really is amazing what they can do fairly easy these days.

The wife had the surgery 3 yr's ago, and now I am thinking about having it done. I miss not being able to use iron sights any more, and none of my glasses have helped. Also not being able to see the puddle clearly , when stick welding is frustrating.

How do you keep vermin away from your woodpile? I have mine pretty far from buildings. At this time of the year I put out mouse traps and bait. First night I had 2 mice caught.

You will be amazed at the clarity and wished you had it done years ago, at least I did, but as the old saying goes" better late then never" Thanks for the reply. Regards LOU.

I know that any surgery at late in life will cause un=do fear with eye surgery. Mine went just great. sure hope older folks would take the time to discuss it with a good eye surgeon. Thanks for the reply. Regards LOU.
