My B3000 loader tractor just plain quit today. It acted like it does when you let up on the seat and that stupid safety switch cuts the motor.
When you turn the key on everything works but it won't crank over. I stuck a screw driver on the starter and it will then crank but not start. I checked all the fuses and they look ok. I'm thinking it must be one of the many safety devices on it.
It happened 5 miles from home doing a sweet heart deal for the church on a Sat. afternoon when everyone is closed for the weekend. It couldn't happen here at home. I wrenched it up on a trailer and got it home.
The tractor is two years old with 450 hrs on it. A 30 hp. model with a factory cab and loader. I brought it new, of course the warrantee ran out last week.
Any Ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Its on the trailer, ready to go to the dealer Monday. It would be nice to get it going as its used daily and is already missed.

I'm not a Kubota expert but I can do basic electrical troubleshooting. Don't start blaming the safety switches, they are there for your protection and those around you. If you bypass a switch and the tractor gets away and injures a loved on you would feel bad, right? You could try troubleshooting the wire to the fuel valve and see if that is the problem. With a meter and a test light you should be able to figure it out.

I have a B2920 that did that once. On mine the hydrostatic control for forward was not centered. Moved a little forward and back and it fired right up. Good luck! Other than that never had any issues.

Well I am no expert but have 28 years Kubota experience. Lets start by saying WHY it will not start when you jump the starter is you have no power to the fuel control solenoid. Now why you do not have power is like some have said probably an open safety switch. My first suggestion is get in the seat. Take your hand and move the key to the crank/start position now hold it there and take your other hand and go to moving ever lever you can reach, pto, hi lo just anything, al use your feet , you may find that sweet spot for the open switch. If you do not hit it you will have to take a test light and just start at the key switch and work down the circuit.

If Kubota and/or your dealer does not repair it under warranty, you need another brand and dealer.

Depending on the age and size:
-clutch or neutral safety switch
-hst pedal safety switch
-pto safety switch
-seat safety switch

The bigger ones tell you on the dash which safety switch is the problem except the seat one. I'm not telling others to do the same but my seat one had to get disconnected at the start. Would kill the tractor as soon as you left black top from lifting off it.

I check it and it looked ok. Although I tried to pull it out and was unable to get the big fuse to slid out. I figured there must be something else you have to do to get it to come out. I was going to try the spare fuse I have. I'm going to look at that again, with my glasses on this time.
