Looks like you have had rain, How is the frost situation? Any crop damage?

We went to St. Louis last week for visit. Went from SC across KY and crossed the Ohio river at Louisville, then went across Southern IN and IL. Some Ky tobacco being harvested. Corn along the way in KY, IN and IL all looked mature, leaves still mostly green. Some soybeans starting to turn yellow. Couldn't tell from road how well the pods have filled out. Beans near me have only a few yellow leaves around the edge of the field near some trees, rest very green. Haven't looked at the pods there either. Moisture in ground ok. Rain has threatened enough to keep us from cutting hay.

Since it is about time for harvest we have been getting more than our share of rain.

Earlier when we needed rain it went around us.

Oh well guess we will have to do the same with the weather that my grandparents did.

Let it come.

We had a little frost here but not enough to hurt and we are mature enough it would not matter too much.

About 2 weeks from cutting beans here. Corn will follow beans for me. I don't like to spend money to dry any more than I have to.

Yeah, corn will keep in the shuck longer than beans in the pod. I guess it will be a month before beans are cut here, but I will post when they start.
