Howdy folks. I know most, if not all of you drink coffee. I quit the stuff about 4 yrs. ago, because it was upsetting my guts and giving me the shakes. I now drink herbal tea only (yah, c'mon over to my house and call me sissy). Anyhoo, I got a couple of new yabo's working for me and I thought I would try and fit into my 'Mr. Nice Guy' persona, by buying them coffee and doughnuts. Due to time constraint I went to McDougies for the coffee. The girl questioned my choice of 'Regular' and went on a sales pitch about the other (really freakin' expensive)choices, - hey, I'm nice but not stoopid. The boys were happy as can be and stated "we can't afford that fansay coffee". Here's the tractor part, when I got home I took my '60' JD for a burn. HPH, b

Not all of us drink coffee. I quit about 20 years ago cold turkey for health reasons. I still like the smell of fresh brewed coffee but have managed to stay on the wagon.

I like a cup every once in a while, sometimes it just sounds nice, you know?

I had one the other week, just something besides water in the morning... I believe that TOO much of a good thing is BAD, so I like to take it easy! Bryce

I am the only one in my family that doesn't drink coffee. My dad drinks it all day and night. He will even get up in the middle of the night and drink a cup and go back to bed. I counted once and in one day he got close to twenty cups. Yep it's caffeinated and black. I've tried to make myself drink it and I just can't acquire the taste. I guess I'm the black sheep in the family. I'm the only one who doesn't smoke either...

Wife drinks it. Can't stand the stuff myself. I have managed for 60 years without it , no point in starting now.

I don't care for coffee or tea either. Told my pastor at Saturday breakfast one time the Boston tea party was a failure, they didn't get rid of all of it! Of course, he was having tea with his breakfast.

Drinking coffee is the one thing I didn't stop drinking when I left the Navy. I like my coffee, and drink 4-5 cups a day. I like Mc Donalds senior coffee for about 65 cents. Stan

Didn't start drinking coffee tell after I was 25 years old. Father-in-law always wanted me to drink coffee with him. Told him like the smell didn't like the taste. One day at work 5 of us always took a break at the same time. I always took milk to drink. This morning I didn't take anything. The boss happened by just then, he says do you smoke "no", do you drink coffee "no". Get that broom and start sweeping the floor. The next morning I had a coffee cup in my hand.

My Mother (being of Norwegian descent) started me drinking a cup of black coffee before school when I was in kindergarten. That was 1949, and I still drink it, but only black and hot.

One glass of milk for breakfast, and Diet Pepsi(3- 44oz)during the day, and then a 1/2 to 3/4 gal of ice tea after work. And my Doctor was worried about me getting up once every night for a 10-100

All i drink is coffee, in the house in the shop in the truck and on the tractor.
Could be as many as 15 mugs a day, first thing in the morning and the last one at bed time. Water is for fish. :)

been drinking coffee since around 5, always drink milk with a meal then coffee right after. i drink around 15-20 cups a day, from the time i get up to right before bed.

Started drinking coffee about age 15 am now 54. Always high test with C&S as couldn't stand plain black. Couple years ago we started drinking 50/50 high test/unleaded. This spring ran outa milk so drank it black and been drinking it black ever since.
Must add a cup of apricot/peach tea steeped for 5-6 minutes with a pinch of sugar added sounds good at 12:30 AM tho. Gots to remember to get some ~grins~

Don't drink it, I barely remember drinking some when I was a kid working at the mill or ice fishing and I was very cold and it was the only hot stuff around but haven't had any in about 50 years. Don't need it to wake up, always been an early riser and ready to go in the morning.

I have to have coffee to get going in the morning, "The way my momma use to make it, hot, strong, and good!" Bet not to many know what movie that is from!
Question about your gut, drinking coffee give you heart burn, that is what happens to me or use to then I started taking apple cider vinegar and no more heart burn!

Black coffee pulls sugar from the blood. If you drink too much it will drop your blood sugar level enough to give you "the shakes".

I drink small amounts of coffee almost daily. Can't stand Starbucks.

I can't drink most of the major over the counter brands - Folgers, Maryland, etc. They use lots of fillers and will give me the shakes very quickly and even make me sick.

I generally buy whole beans and grind them. You might give that a try. Many major grocery stores will have a selection and a grinder. You'll find it much better than the OTC (Folgers, Maryland Club, etc) and it will take less coffee.

I like to sip a cup and look at the tractors out in the shed (tractor related) although that doesn't happen very often.

I started drinking coffee in my early 20s at farm sales. Then I had a college room mate who drank lots of coffee,Kinda got me started....Now I drink 5-6 cups a day.
