Just a John Deere model A

yesterday morning my dad calls me and tells me that he is looking at a 1941 John Deere model A tractor. He wanted me to email him imformation on these fine John Deere model A. This has got me puzzled because he is a farmall person (not a John Deere) so what is up with this. I am the only one in the family who has a collection of JOhn Deere, I.H. Farmall, case and Allis Chalmers. Every body eles has just Farmall. Did you know that John Deere made a total of 300,000 model A's tractors they have to be good.
 
Brent,I'm also a red guy....But I have a '44 JD 'A'.I just had to have this one because its unusual/unique.Has a IH Farmall(M) wide front and IH seat.And I had a very high degree of respect for the decesed owner.

Everybody has moments and do some naughty things, He has not fallen from grace. Please forgive him. I at one time fell into the temptation to buy a Massey.
 
Well, I am a John Deere guy, but I have an H Farmall, and a VAC Case. It doesn't hurt to try out the competition once in a while.
 
You guys know how I am! IF it is a tractor, and it WILL get the job done, then I will take it!

I am a little partial to John Deere, because the very first piece of farm equipment I ever drove (sat on someones lap and held the wheel) was a 9660 STS Combine, "Big Green".
