Thinking...

...this is the window I was looking for to get that last hay off the field stress free. No rain predicted thru Saturday. I can take my time and enjoy one of the last extended tractor jobs of the year. Looks like a nice day ahead.

Keeping my fingers crossed. I've got 43 acres down that I cut Saturday and Sunday. As soon as the fog lifts I'm headed out to cut the last 25 of the season. Want to take bets on the forecast being changed as soon as the last of it hits the ground? They've already tossed in a chance for Saturday that wasn't there before.

all this talk of nice days and enjoying the stress free haying is kinda dangerous.

You DO know you're dooming yourself to a major equipment failure, right?

Cut hay Friday, Saturday, Sunday, suppose to be beautiful for 7 days, going to bale Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, woke up Monday morning, whats that sound, yup, raining, it can rain here any time it wants to. So yesterday was cloudy and cold all day but today is nice, so see how it goes.

Keeping my finfers crossed for both Dave and rrlund. I mowed the last bale Sunday! All i have to do is to bale up a few broken bales from the mow. But they'll be safe (dry) until I get around to it. Need to start spreading manure/old hay out of the sheep pastures, but spreader is in the shop. Mechanic was going to get started today now that parts are in. Really didn't need the rain Monday. Pasture and pile way too wet already!
