I have a non running "55 Farmall 300. Been sitting indoors, for 3 years. Motor is loose. Straight tin, rear tires 50 percent. Don"t know if I will ever get to it. Thinking of selling to free up some space. I am in Minnesota. Any thoughts on sell price.?

As is not much if any more then $500. Now if you make it run then it could bring 3 or 4 times that

I am in NY and paid $1100 two years ago for a 300 with a stuck engine and iffy rear tires. It had the fast hitch, 3 hydraulics levers, TA and IPTO, which were all things I wanted to gain in stepping up from an H. I agree that it will always be worth more if you can get it running. How many options you have will also influence the value at least to me, since they make the tractor so much more useful.

Put some fresh gas in the tank and rub the points
with a piece of 320 or 400 wet or dry. Install a good correct battery. Then see if the engine will start. Hal

If it doesn't run the major factor on what it is worth is HOW MUCH DOES IT WEIGH? If it doesn't run consider anything over scrap value as a gift. A non-runner becomes at best a big toy and a really expensive hobby. Not being able to hear it run and drive it makes it a pig in a poke and it's all to easy to spend more making it useful than a good one can be bought for.

I gave 1700 for mine, in running condition with near new tires. Its a toss up, try to get running. Even if it dont run good, at least you can say it DOES run. You have nothing to lose, and so much more to gain.
