it was on PIVOT today called food inc. didn't get to see all of it but the part about one major companies methods of controlling modern ag,seeds to the supermarket was eye opening
 
There is some good programming on that channel. If you ever get to see the movie called "Sicko" by Michael Moore I believe it was, it is VERY eye opening. It is about comparing our health care systems in our country, Canada, England, France etc. Things that will really make you wonder. I saw the one on Food Inc but didn't get a chance to see it.

Michel Moore, All Gore, David Suzuki ao:are all cut from the same cloth. They lie and cheat, can't believe anything they say..its all about the money (Do as i say..not as I do)
 
Thought you might be referring to "Mountain Men" on another channel- Discovery, I think. Showed the older guy in the Yack Valley, Montana, cutting down an 80' lodgepole dead pine. He made his first cut and pounded a wedge in the cut. Then went to the other side of the tree to cut a notch. It all looked so BACKWARDS and the next thing he pinched the saw - or at least knocked the chain off the bar. (Play that again, did I see what I thought I saw)
 
I can't believe they have any credibility. They speak out
against wealth, priveledge, and energy usage. But turn
around and live in multi-million dollar, energy hog
mansions. When they live in a mud hut, I will listen to
them.
 
Yea its amazing how the same folks that rant on about the oil companies/cartels think its just fine for 90% of the seed supply to be held by just a few companies.The good part is that truly independent seed companies are making a comeback.
 
A lot of what was on the program was talking to citizens and doctors in other countries about health care and that they don't understand ours, or lack of. That is what I found interesting.
 
Amazing just how one sided a production can be....You'd ALMOST suspect it was an anti modern ag special interest group who produced that film....in order to stir up those who don't have a direct link to reality.....

What you watched is called PROPAGANDA. It is agenda driven film making, no different than what the Germans did in WW2 or Stalin in the USSR. Do yourself a favor and look beyond what people like Moore want you to believe and do some research yourself. It's not that hard.

Those pro-pipeline and pro-fracking commercials are sure as heck right-wing propaganda. Like you said, agenda driven.

The difference is that the press cries foul when anything to the right of Saul Alinsky gets out there. They don't point out the distortion in their own propaganda.

Alan you can take people, with an axe to grind or through lack of knowledge, interview them, then cherry pick those to put together the stuff that moore puts out. Rush and others do the same thing to present their side. Most of moore's work has been thoroughly discredited. Heck he claimed that Cuba's medical system was better than ours all the while Castro himself was going to Europe for cancer treatment.

You are about the only one here claiming any validity to moore. Look at your other post. Everyone is telling you the same thing. Moore, who has publically stated that he would give up his fortune to see the US become communist, has a very large axe to grind and that is the destruction of the USA. So any of his work is designed to discredit the system and the government and lead to a system change.
