Some on here posted a link to a craig list add. Old grader located in Indiana . Called the guy and made the purchase. Moved it 250 miles south Thursday. Really want to thank the poster. Grader has been in the same family for 86 years. True Barn find , not worn anywhere , no breaks or welds. Someone posted "They come up like that all time a Amish auctions". This one is not for sale but sure could turn a nice profit if I wanted to sell it. Looked thru over 400 photos of old graders and have yet to find one like it. Arched frame with full supports joined over the controls. Fellow who owned it said he had been told it was a 1916 Bucyrus-Erie.

When he puts it to work, I want to see how he is going to be in TWO PLACES at the same time, LOL, driving the tractor to pull it & on the back of the Grader to operate the controls. HeeHee!

Really neat.

Neighbor had a pull-type grader when I was a kid. He and my dad would work together to grade both driveways and gravel yards each year. It was fun to watch and they did a darn good job... we always had a nice smooth driveway.
