To get pasted. If you have hay on the ground in southern Michigan it is probably gonna get wet. Radar shows a large area of storms off to the west. Thundering now, but no rain to speak of. I just hope it doesn't do any damage. I can see my weekend plans shelved while we clean up yet another round of downed ash trees.

Keep it. I broke the knives in the haybine when I headed back down to that second field this afternoon. We just got done fixing it in the shop. Had a little light rain and some lightning but nothing major. It's cooling off,that's one good thing.

Son said windy, lots of rain, but over with quickly in Nashville, Eaton county. No rain here in central Michigan. Waited till it looked like it would begin to clear, and started mowing hay this aftrenoon. Got about half done before the drive belts gave out. Four 5/8 X 124" belts. Wallet going to be a lot lighter in the morning. Hope to get it together and finish the job.

Wow! No kidding. It got dark as night here between 7:30-8 but very little lightning and only a few rumbles. Almost no rain. If it got rough up your way I hate to see what is waiting for me tomorrow at the farm.

9:22 and storming here now. The power was on and off for a while and it is much cooler. Not a bad storm but the rain finally came hard. Our AC only has two settings...one is where the fan in the window points out and two is where it points in. I had just set it to two and it was all I could do to get upstairs before it filled the bedroom with water.

I have a last cutting I want to get done. It rained today, and is forecast for highs in 60s, lows in 70s. I want to get it cut sometime so it has a chance to grow and not winter kill.

We didn"t get much rain, quite a bit of wind, the power came back on about midnight. We have Consumers and we lose power frequently.
