How about an AWESOME Case Seed Drill!! Bought it from a friend in the tractor community. Looks to be in GREAT shape.

Still has a home made seed flow chart on the inside, which I expect that you guys will help me understand!! :) Can't wait to get a field to use it on!

It seeds about 77 inches, and is 8 feet to the outside of both of the tires! TO COOL!!! Bryce

I wish equipment around here would keep that good. With the humidity we have here it just rots away.

How can you sleep at night? You could have a least given the previous owner the full Happy Meal! Looks good behind your C.

Great Find! Great Deal!! that looks to be a "D" series drill, they are very good at seed quantity and placement, I have one like it but plants 12' I have raised 90 bushel Winter Wheat that was planted with it

Hate to disagree with Bro's comment, but I think you have a Case LFA 117S (11 openers,7" spacing)drill WITH optional double disc openers and grass seed att.
Originally the hoppers were galvinized, not red. IF you would like, I will e-mail you a copy of the complete sales brochure.

Is the feed shaft free? Not uncommon for them to rust tight. I had to use the acetylene torch to heat each cup to free the feed shaft on my BIL's drill one year.

Bro, we went down this trail before LOL the seed box still looks like a "D" to me, can we see a pic of the inside of the hoppers? I do have a "L" series fertilizer drill as well. I will go take a few pics to post Bro Loren may be right I have been wrong before, has not been long since I have ate some crow though lol

here is one of my "D" series and the small silver one with manual lift is the "L" series, as you can see my "D" drill is a "catch-all" as well!

That is for sure what mine is...

I was just out messing with it, and I got the lift/lower clutch working well. Took a little lube though. :)

The seed flow adjusting levers are a little stiff yet, but a little action will fix them! The grass box on the front has the most problems, looks like each one of those holes for the seeds is plugged full of stuff...

Tomorrow, I will take a picture of the seed chart that someone made, it is for Wheat, Barley, Oats, and Alfalfa. Says what notches to use, or something like that!

Thanks for the pictures! Bryce
