We went to a farm tractor/equipment auction today.

Took a lot of photos - but one of my favorites was this patriotic motorcycle somebody cruised-in with. (Not usually into cycles... but it was really neat.)

The gas cap was especially awesome!

That is a real neat cycle. Some one did one heck of a job on that paint job. I envy those that have any type of that skill. I am lucky to draw a stick figure right. LOL

That is what I really admire, an all American paint job on a Japanese motorcycle, truly a solid American.

Victory Motorcycle Polaris (about 15 years old) Made in St. Cloud MN, and other US locations. Not all/every part US made, but for sure not "foreign"

Trouble is when you are bored with it you can't sell them. They stay on the market for a long time when reselling. It is supposed to be a quality bike but has a limited interest.

I'm thinking that its a Victory scoot. The parent company is Polaris and they are also bringing back the Indian line. I think the first year for the Victory big twin was '98 or so. Could be wrong. And I could be totally wrong about what kind of bike it is too for all that it matters...

Indian stands a good chance of becoming a solid contender in the big twin market taking a place beside its Victory brother.

Its not uncommon to see an old Vic with well beyond 100,000 miles on it with no top end work having been needed. My Road King turned 50,000 and it doesn't sound like its gonna make it to a hundred without spending a few bucks...
