Kubota B7100 Hydraulic pump rebuild

I was getting Hydraulic fluid in my engine oil and after a little research it looked like the only place this could happen was in the hydraulic pump. I bought the seals and o-rings, pulled the pump but now I don't see any obvious way to remove the outer bushings. Can anyone tell me how to remove the outer bushings on a hydraulic pump? Thanks

Pretty simple just remove six bolts there on the end case and ever thing comes apart. Thin is replacing you seal will probably NOT fix your problem/. That end shaft seal that you see between the pump and engine only holds drip pressure. What happens is the end plates get worn. The pump has some small plates that have groves where the hydraulic oil hold pressure on the plates to prevent pressure there where the seal is. Most times replacing the seal will not stop the oil going into the engine. Requires complete rebuilding of the pump which is mor costly than a new pump.

Thanks for your response. I removed the 6 bolts and took the end plate off which allows me to get at 3 of the O-rings, however the outside bushings are set in firmly. I was afraid to try and pry on them but perhaps that's the solution.

Ted go down to the drive end remove the snap ring then just tap the shaft down on a block of wood and everything slides out. Look for scoring on those end plates, and do not put the o rings in backwards.

Jim, I have another question related to this you may be able to help with. The bolts which hold on the hydraulic lines in place have holes in them to allow the fluid to pass through. When I snug the bolts down the holes did not perfectly align with the hydraulic lines. There appears to be space in the void to allow fluid to flow around even if they aren't aligned perfectly but I am not sure if that is so. My question is if the holes on the bolts holding the hydraulic lines aren't aligned perfectly could this cause enough pressure to cause hydraulic fluid to be forced into the engine oil?

Thanks, much appreciated! I can't find a snap ring on the shaft end, is there any other way it could be held in?
