How do you all feel about the tractor? There is a low hour one owner coming up on auction. I need a cab raking tractor and backup for other stuff. It is as big as I need and looks nice but haven't heard anything about them.

Buy it if it's in your budget. It has PS but they are not problematic. Plenty smarts over on the Case board. Tom

Where is the auction? If it is the one in Iowa I can tell you more about its history. The one I had was good in a lot of ways but no comparison to it"s replacement as far as comfort and convenience.

A farm I worked at had one. Don't remember having any issues with it. I was only around it for a couple years though.

Do you want to be like that marble inside the aerosol paint can? Do you have a good chiropractor that's available at all hrs.? If you answered yes to these questions then yes you should buy it.

Now thats just funny! Since no tractors at that time had a suspension, the only differences would be wheel base, and any advantage in ride from a longer wheel base would be offset by losses in manuverability. Tires would make a much bigger difference in ride than wheel base.

the 2096 had the 2094 trany and rear end, but with the cummins engine that was in the Dodge pickups at the time. proven reliable trany and a fuel saipping engine. I dont think that engine pulled as good as the 504 did, but for what you want to do it would be great. just make sure you use case hytran oil in the trany
