dc3 case tractor

I have a dc3 case that needs the oil seals that are located
behind the bake disc housing. The original seal number is
National 55004. The local folks at Bearing and Drive said they
can't cross reference the number. Has anybody found a
replacement for these? The tractor serial number is 5000974 if
that helps. Thanks in advance.

then go to a motion industries or google it i did it poped up but motion industries has alot that is where i go for most of my seals and bearings

Then find another bearing place.They are being lazy(or dont know their @$$ from a hole in the ground).They should have multiple books that cross several brands of seals.National is still a major seal mfg.Go to your local NAPA.Take the old seal as a sample,they can measure and find out.

Look at a Victor #49316
Inside Diameter: 69.85 mm,2.75 in

Outside Diameter: 95.4 mm,3.756 in

Width: 12.7 mm,0.5 in

I see 8 more seals same ID and OD but
thickness is .437.

National oil seals is alive and well, as the
seal Division of Timken Bearing !

Thanks everyone for the help. Got my seals on the way per phone call this morning.

Motion got things figured out in about 1 minute. I new national was still around but the guy the other day just didn't seem to know much about problem solving or customer service.
