Large 1000 shaft for 1586 IH

Has anyone ever seen or owned a large 1000 pto shaft for a 1586 IH? I am looking for one, but none of the salvage yards I contacted have ever seen one. I would like to find one for my 1586, it is the stub shaft type with 3 bolts. Thanks for any information.

You will not find the stub shaft with bolts with 1 3/4-1000. You had to have the solid shaft to get the 1 3/4-1000.

I have switched several over to the stub shaft setup. I used to have the shaft your wanting in the solid one piece shaft. I scrapped them years ago. No one wanted 1 3/4 -1000 around here. To change them over you have to disassemble the PTO unit and change the shafts.

Thanks, I knew they were available with the large shaft, but didn't realize it was not the bolt on type. Thanks for the information.
