Won't Stay Running

This question is about an Allis WD- but I didn't post there as my question is not manufacturer specific. I have been working on this tractor on and off for months. I have replaced the valves, intake manifold/gaskets, and the entire ignition system. I also put a new needle and seat in the carb. My problem now is that it will only run on carb cleaner, or sometimes when hand choked. The compression is now around 100 on each cylinder, and it seems to be pulling good vacuum through the carb. What direction should I go in now? I am at a loss, so any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

What do you think I should check in the carb? When I pull the plug out of the bottom, fuel does flow through.

You know it isn"t getting gas, or is getting very little.

Is the carburetor bowl full of fuel? Could be a fuel line blockage or the float is out of adjustment.

Otherwise either the carb jet is blocked or you have a vacuum leak somewhere. Make sure the intake manifold and carb are tightened down on good gaskets.

To me that says the fuel is in the carb but the main jet is clogged up and or other passage ways in the carb.

I had that problem on an Oliver 70. I opened up the carb again and studied it and found another passage where the gas comes in that I had not cleaned and it was plugged.

Somewhere, somehow, something is clogged in the
carb, or a component is missing.

I would open it up and examine the main jet
circuit. All fuel flows through the main jet. If
it won't get any fuel, (and what you are
describing is it isn't getting any fuel), then
nothing is getting through the main circuit.

These are simple, basic carbs, don't be afraid of
it. As you look at it, keep in mind how it was
made, how the passages were drilled, where they
go, what does what, what is supposed to be open,
what is supposed to be plugged.

Do some research on carb theory, all carbs work
the same. Let us know what you find!

I recently went through a similar issue on my MH22.
Check your main nozzle and jet in the carb. I had
been though my Marvel carb twice including with a
full kit when I finally decided to remove my main
nozzle. Found out that someone had soldered in the
end of a main nozzle with nothing behind it. I did
some modifications to get a new nozzle in there and
that did the trick.

If that carburetor has a main jet adjusting screw you need to open it. Also remove the fuel line at
the carburetor and the fitting and look for a screen behind the tube fitting that may be plugged. Hold a clean container to catch the gas
and see if there's a full stream of gas from your tank. Hal
PS: If you have an inline fuel filter remove it.

Ok, the tractor is now running. I believe there was something clogged in one of the jets. Now, the issue is the three point. It is not raising. It appears to be very low on fluid, so I'll try that route first. Thanks to everyone for the help.

Final Update.
It is running, I put hydraulic oil in it, and the lift works just fine now. It's now ready for hay, too bad I finished it a week and a half after second cutting. Thanks for all the help.
