If I'm understanding, you've got the injector lines disconnected and are ready to set the head off, and are wondering if the injectors need to come out first. If I'm right, then the answer is no, the injectors will come off with the head. That said, once the head is off, it's really easy to set it down wrong, or for any one of a million other things to happen, and mess up the tip of one or more of the injectors. In other words yes, they will come out, but you'd be much better off taking the injectors out of the head, and marking them for their respective cylinder (unless your having them done too) just to be on the same side.

NCWayne had it correct. The head will come off without removing the injectors. But you can easily damage the injectors by leaving them in the head.

Pull them out and save yourself some risk/money

You may want to check the sealant on the o-rings on
the sleeves. I had the same problem. Folks used the
wrong stuff during an overhaul and they started
leaking.
Just my 2 cents.

Yes the pistons will come out the top ,would pull the liners
and check the o-rings, pull the middle piston first,if scuffed
on the skirt, it has been over heated.Do you know if it has
been overhauled before? If not or dont know, use a small
grinding ball on a 3/8's drill with an extention and go over
the bores in the bottom of the block where the o-ring of
the liner eners the block, just enough to take any burrs off
the casting, also would put in new kits( liners and pistons)

I've picked several machines right off the ground pushing out liners.. If it still won't budge, With the jack still pushing on the liner grab a wood block and a good sized hammer.. Put the wood block [ 2x6-2x8 ] flat on top of the liner right next to the one you want out.. Give the jack enough pressure so it just starts to pick the machine a little and wail on the wood block with the hammer.. I'll bet it gets the hint....
