On a grounded sw so when the button is in the sw is grounded.

On the bottom of the mag is a 3/8 nut and short metal strap. Hook your switch wire to the nut. Can stop the engine by grounding the strap to the machine screw close to it or pull the switch out. From the factory the kill switch was off when pulled out and in was the run position.

May be something missing on this mag. No nut,stud,or strap. Bottom of mag has nothing.

There are four slot-headed screws which go through the distributor cap and hold it to the rest of the mag. There should be a stud, nut, and little metal strap coming out of the cap between the bottom two screws. You need to hook the ground wire to this stud. Please note: The stud comes out of the cap, not out of the body of the mag.
