What's the difference of unstyled and styled tractors? Was
john Deere the only company that had styled and unstyled?

The difference is, on unstyled there was no grill in front of the radiator. And I think all brands had unstlyed.

Pretty much all tractors were unstyled before 1939. The Mfrs all styled their products to generate sales at the '39 Worlds Fair in NYC. Look at the introduction dates for the Farmall , Deere & A-C letter series ....

Read some history on the DEERE company, and how they came to hire noted industrial designer Henry Dreyfuss, who was responsible for the whole "styled" thing, and brought ergonomics of the human body into the design of machinery.

I've also read the history on the RED side, but the details of that escape me at the moment.
Tractors and locomotives

Unstyled is the rough look of the 30's and before. Styled is the streamlined look of the 40's and later with a grill and smoother looking hood ect. All manufacturers made the change at some point. Farmall made the change when they went from their F series to their letter series. Deere made the change in the middle of the production of their letter series. Thats why Deere letter series gets refered to as styled or unstyled and some other manufactured tractors don't, because people are refering to a different series in those cases. Vehicles, train locomotives and rail cars, and other things got styled into streamlined during this same era.
