What is the correct hydraulic cylinder (and part #) for the John Deere H tractor power-trol?

I assume you want a "correct" showtractor.There are several cylinders that were made during that time.It could have any one,depending upon which implement that was hitched to it.Just find any cylinder that is 'period correct',that will be close enough.As far as a "part number",I dont think there were any.The indvidual parts were numbered.

I checked my book for the H-1 plow but it only lists the lifting frame and not the cylinder. I think that cylinder was probably used on several implements. If you want, I can dig mine up and see if there's a part number on it tomorrow and send pictures. And since you're going for "correct" the H used a Power Lift.

The cylinder casting is H865R which may be for the whole thing or only the casting.
